π Getting Started
This guide will help you download and run βsniffer,β a user-friendly network packet sniffer for real-time data capture and analysis. You donβt need programming skills to follow these steps.
π¦ Download & Install

To get started, visit the Releases page on GitHub. There, you will find the latest version of the software ready for download.
π οΈ System Requirements
Ensure your computer meets the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, MacOS, or any modern Linux distribution
- Processor: Intel or AMD with at least 1 GHz speed
- RAM: Minimum of 2 GB
- Disk Space: At least 100 MB free space
- Network Interface: Any active network adapter
π₯ Downloading the Software
- Click the link above to go to the Releases page.
- Look for the latest version listed at the top of the page.
- You will see several files for download. Choose the one that matches your operating system.
- For Windows users, download the
.exe file.
- For Mac users, download the
.dmg file.
- For Linux users, select the appropriate package for your distribution.
- Click on the file to start the download.
π Installing the Software
Windows:
- Once the download completes, locate the downloaded
.exe file.
- Double-click the file to start the installation process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Mac:
- Find the downloaded
.dmg file in your Downloads folder.
- Double-click the file to open it. This will show a window with the application.
- Drag the sniffer icon into your Applications folder.
- You can now find and launch it from your Applications.
Linux:
- Depending on your distribution, you may have a
.deb or .rpm file.
- For
.deb files, open Terminal and run:
sudo dpkg -i path_to_file.deb
- For
.rpm files, use:
sudo rpm -i path_to_file.rpm

- After installation, locate the sniffer application on your computer.
- In Windows, find it in your Start Menu.
- On Mac, it is in the Applications folder.
- On Linux, search for it in your applications menu.
